Ingredients
- butter to taste
- 6 slices of whole wheat bread
- Pizza Sauce to taste
- mozzarella shredded, to taste
- pepperoni slices to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of a piece of bread then place it into the skillet butter side down.
- Spoon some pizza sauce on the bread and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle on some shredded mozzarella, layer it with pepperoni slices, and then a bit more mozzarella.
- Lightly butter the remaining piece of bread on one side, spread a bit more sauce on the other side, and place it on top of the sandwich.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwich with a spatula and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Slice in half and serve immediately. Enjoy!
