This air fryer asparagus is quick and easy to make and comes out perfect every time! Roasting asparagus in the air fryer yields delicious, crisp tender stalks in minutes. It's a nutritious, low-calorie, low-carb side dish.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 teaspoons olive oil or avocado oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon
Optional toppings:
- grated parmesan cheese, balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Trim the ends off the asparagus. Toss the asparagus in a bowl with oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the asparagus in the air fryer in a single layer. Cook 6-9 minutes, until crisp tender (thinner stalks will cook faster). Shake the basket halfway through.
- Arrange the asparagus on a platter. Grate some lemon zest and squeeze some lemon juice on the asparagus. Add additional toppings as desired.
