Cup of Yum
In Oven
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Transfer the broccoli to a large sheet pan. You can also add the olive oil and seasonsings on the sheet pan.
- Spread evenly so they do not overlap. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring once half way through.
Notes
- Tips to cook broccoli in the air fryer:
- More seasoning options:
- Frozen Broccoli cooks just as well. It will just not get as crispy as fresh broccoli. Use the same method and add 1-2 minutes to the cooking time.
- Separate the florets or cut into even-sized pieces, as this helps the broccoli to cook well.
- Do not overcrowd in the air fryer basket. Preferably spread the broccoli in a single layer. Cook in batches if needed.
- Serve right way after cooking, for the best texture!
- Toss the broccoli in some balsamic vinegar along with the seasonings.
- Try other seasoning options like onion powder, cumin powder, paprika, or red chili flakes if you like a spicier taste.
- Give your roasted broccoli an Indian twist by adding cumin powder, turmeric powder, and some garam masala as seasoning.
- You can also try taco seasoning or sprinkle Trader Joe's chili lime seasoning at the end.
