Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare your chicken by using a rubber mallet to pound the chicken to even thickness.
  2. In a small bowl add the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Rub evenly and on both sides of the chicken.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch pan and add the chicken. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes to adsorb the juices.
