Ingredients

  • 1 fresh lime
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 ounces cachaca (Brazilian sugarcane liquor)

Instructions

  1. Cut the lime into 8 wedges and place them in a glass. Add the sugar. Use a muddler to crush the limes and extract their juice. Mix the juice with the sugar.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Pour the cachaça over the ice. Stir well to ensure the sugar has dissolved and the flavors have combined.
