Ingredients
Short-grain brown rice
- tap water for rinsing
- 200 g short-grain brown rice
- 240 g filtered water
Long-grain brown rice
- tap water for rinsing
- 178 g long-grain brown rice
- 240 g filtered water
Instructions
- Measure out the brown rice and place it into the Instant Pot metal container.
- Under running water, rinse thoroughly, mixing with your hands a bit, then drain the water.
- Measure the filtered water and pour it into the Instant Pot’s metal pot.
- Place the pot inside the Instant Pot, close the lid and rotate to lock.
- Pressure cook on high pressure for 20 minutes with a natural release, with ‘keep warm’ turned off.
- When the rice is done and the Instant Pot has naturally released all its pressure, open the lid and fluff the rice. Serve immediately.
