Perfect Parmesan Double Pork Burger

These Perfect Parmesan Double Pork Burgers are almost too good words. They should be on everyone's bucket list! The flavor is divine. Ground pork, cooked bacon, ham or pancetta, onion and of course parmesan cheese!  You have to try them!

Servings: 8
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • ½ pound cooked bacon, ham or pancetta, diced
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. First, prepare your ingredients. Dice or crumble cooked bacon, ham or pancetta. The smaller, the better. Dice your onion. Again, the smaller the better.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine pork, bacon, ham or pancetta, parmesan cheese, onion, salt and pepper.  We usually use our hands but I leave it up to you. Mix until just combined.  Do not over mix.
  3. Form into 8 patties about ¾ inch thick.
BAKING
  1. If baking these burgers in the oven, preheat to 350 degrees and prepare a rimmed baking sheet with tinfoil and a rack lightly coated in cooking spray. Cook for approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Flip burgers at about the 15 minute mark and rotate your baking sheet.
GRILLING
  1. Oil grill rack, and then grill patties turning over once, until cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
MAKING YOUR BURGERS
  1. Serve with or without a bun. Serve with or without cheese and all of your favorite burger toppings!   I usually melt cheese on the buns and add lettuce, tomato, and anything else I feel like!  Be creative.  These burgers are delicious.  Enjoy!
