Ingredients
- 3 lbs cabbage
- 1/2 lb carrots
- 1/2 lb onion
- 1/2 lb red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 6 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup oil olive or avocado
Instructions
- Prepare all the veggies. Cut them by hand or use a Mandoline Slicer.
- Place all the veggies in a large bowl. Massage them lightly by hand.
- Add salt, sugar, vinegar and oil. Toss together to spread the seasoning evenly.
- Pack the cabbage mixture tightly into jars. Cover with a lid and leave to refrigerate overnight. The cabbage is ready to eat the next day!
