Ingredients

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 cups mixed peppers sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, garlic, and mustard seeds in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve.
  2. Place the sliced peppers in a clean, heatproof jar.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the peppers, ensuring they are completely submerged.
  4. Seal the jar and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating overnight.
