Pilgrim Sandwich
This Pilgrim Sandwich is a delicious way to use up Thanksgiving leftovers. All the best parts of the big meal piled onto a sweet and savory sandwich.
Ingredients
- 2 lices hearth bread or leftover rolls from Thanksgiving, cranberry and pistachio
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- 2 lices turkey leftovers or deli turkey
- ¼ cup stuffing
- 1 lice provolone cheese
- 1 leaf romaine lettuce
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Instructions
- Spread cream cheese on the bottom slice of bread.
- Add cranberry on top of the cream cheese.
- Top with turkey, stuffing, provolone, and lettuce.
- Spread some mayonnaise on the top half of the bread, then sandwich it together!
Notes
- Ideally, you want to serve the sandwiches as soon as they are made. But, if you have leftovers, wrap the sandwich with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge. Serve within a day.
