Ingredients

  • 10 canned biscuits
  • 6 ounces Pizza Sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 20 slices pepperoni

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch or 7 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Open the biscuit cans and cut each biscuit into eight pieces. Kitchen shears work great for this.
  3. Add the biscuit pieces to the baking dish. Add the pizza sauce and stir to coat the biscuits.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the biscuits. Then, add the pepperoni slices.
  5. Bake for 25-35 minutes, until the biscuits are puffed up and the edges of the pepperoni are crispy.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut into slices and serve.

Notes

  • Use refrigerated biscuits that aren't the flaky layers type. Regular homestyle biscuits work best and give the perfect texture.
  • To serve a crowd (or hungry teenagers) double the recipe and make it in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • Stir the sauce and biscuits gently but thoroughly. You want each piece coated.
  • If you want to ensure pepperoni in every bite, you can layer it so it overlaps.
  • I wouldn't recommend freezing this recipe.
  • Add any pizza toppings you like! Just make sure any meat is pre-cooked and vegetables are pre-sautéed to remove excess moisture.
