Plums Cilantro chutney | Aloo Bukhara Chutney
A gorgeous wine-red colour, plums cilantro chutney/aloo bukhara chutney is a vegan, gluten-free natural sweet and sour delectable condiment that adds a burst of flavour to any meal. Ingredients
- 420 g plum or aloo bukhara
- few leaves cilantro
- 1 small onion
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 2 green chili
- 7-8 mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
Instructions
- Wash plums, cilantro, mint, garlic, and onion thoroughly.
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender without adding water.
- Transfer to a container and store in the refrigerator.
- Serve this yummy fresh plums cilantro chutney /aloo bukara chutney.
Notes
- Thoroughly wash and rinse plums, cilantro, and mint leaves to prevent dirt contamination.
- Use pitted plums with skin on them.
- Plums contain >80% of water, so water is not required to blend the ingredients. But if you find it hard, add a teaspoon of water.
- Avoid lemon or vinegar, as the chutney is already tangy.
- Add only a few mint leaves to avoid bitterness in the chutney.
