Pomegranate Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple cored and sliced
  • 1 pear cored and sliced
  • 1 navel orange sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 8 clove whole
  • 750 mL red wine (any kind you like)
  • 1 cup vodka pomegranate flavored
  • 2 cups cranberry apple juice
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice sweetened
  • pomegranate arils (see note)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add fruit, spices, wine, vodka, and juices to a 2.5-quart pitcher. Carefully give everything a stir, the pitcher will be pretty full.
  2. Chill sangria in the fridge for at least 4 hours to overnight.
  3. Pour into glasses, being sure to get some fruit into each glass. Garnish with pomegranate arils. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Freeze your pomegranate arils and add them to your glasses to help keep the cocktails cold!
