Pomegranate Shrub Cosmos
These Pomegranate Shrub Cosmos are sweet and tart, crisp and clean. And oh so pretty. The perfect cocktail for a holiday celebration!
Ingredients
- 1 c. vodka I used Tattersall vodka, your favorite
- ¼ c. Cointreau
- ¾ c. pomegranate shrub homemade
- 4 orange bitters Fee Brothers West Indian, dashes
- 4 orange fresh twists
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a jar or small pitcher. Give a slow, gentle stir with a spoon and place in refrigerator a few hours prior to serving, or overnight. This cocktail is best when served very cold, but shaking with ice in a cocktail shaker gives this drink a cloudy appearance, and I prefer the pretty, clear look. So I place the cocktail glasses and the mixed cocktail in the jar in the freezer for 30 to 40 minutes before serving.
- When ready to serve, just give the mixed cocktail a slow, gentle stir with a spoon and divide between chilled glasses. Add a twist of fresh orange peel to the side of each glass and enjoy.
