Pork Gravy Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups pan drippings
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan on the stove.
  2. Stir in the flour and let it brown for one minute, stirring frequently. This mixture is called a roux.
  3. Add the pan drippings as well as any extra broth (if necessary) to the butter and flour mixture. Use a whisk to evenly distribute the flour and remove any lumps.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer the gravy for three to four minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve, and enjoy!
