Pork Street Tacos

Ingredients

For the Pork Ground Tacos
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 7 ounces salsa verde one small can
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
For Serving
  • pineapple canned or fresh, diced
  • white onion diced
  • cilantro fresh
  • queso fresco
  • tortillas

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium skillet, heat oil until shimmering.
  2. Add pork and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic and cumin and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the salsa verde, honey, and salt and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until most of the liquid is evaporated.
  5. Serve on tortillas of your choice or fry into tacos.
  6. Top with desired toppings.
