Protein Packed Baked Hummus Dip

Filled with creamy hummus, shredded leftover chicken or turkey, and plenty of cheese, this warm pro dip is a total crowd-pleaser and the ultimate party dip!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (or leftover shredded turkey)
  • 3 cups hummus (homemade or storebought)
  • 2 cups shredded 2% sharp cheddar cheese
  • cilantro, minced red onion, avocado cubes, diced tomatoes, crumbled cotija cheese (optional toppings)
  • Wild Wonders peppers, tortilla chips (to serve)

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place shredded chicken or turkey in the bottom of an 8" x 11" baking dish and add in the hummus. Stir to combine then spread mixture in even layer. Sprinkle dish evenly with shredded cheese and bake until cheese melts and hummus is warmed through, about 15-18 minutes.
  3. Garnish with scallions, cilantro and other optional toppings before serving with Wild Wonders peppers and tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Dish can be prepped ahead of time and baked right before guests arrive. If you want to keep it vegetarian I love using black beans instead of chicken/turkey!
