Pumpkin Sage Crostini

This Pumpkin Sage Crostini is the perfect holiday appetizer! It comes together quickly and is packed with the delicious flavors of pumpkin, sage, ricotta, and a touch of honey. Sure to satisfy all your guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 c. pumpkin puree
  • ½ c. ricotta cheese
  • ½ tsp. black pepper fresh ground
  • ½ c. walnuts chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. sage finely chopped, fresh
  • honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Toast baguette slices in a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine pumpkin puree, ricotta cheese, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Spread pumpkin mixture evenly over toasted baguette.
  4. Top with toasted walnuts.
  5. Toast for an additional 5 minutes; remove from oven.
  6. Top with fresh sage and drizzle with honey.
