Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients

  • 4 cups freshly brewed coffee (any flavor such as Pumpkin Spice or House Blend)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups organic whole milk
  • Whipped Cream (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. To brew the extra strong coffee, I suggest 1/2 cup ground coffee with 4 cups water.
  2. While the coffee is brewing, whisk together pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, vanilla and milk in a small sauce pot over medium heat. Continue whisking until bubbles start to form around the edges.
  3. Fill four coffee mugs halfway with coffee then top with the warm milk mixture. Garnish with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon if you wish. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you have a milk frother at home, this is a great time to use it! It’s just as delicious without, however.
