Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coffee or 2 shots espresso, strong hot
  • 1 cup milk any kind, such as almond, oat, or regular
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped Cream optional, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
  2. In a saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin purée, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently, until hot but not boiling.
  3. Pour the brewed espresso into a large mug. Add the hot pumpkin-spice milk mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly. Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
