Quick and Easy Beefaroni

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 29 ounce can tomato sauce
  • grated sharp cheddar cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook 8 ounces elbow macaroni, according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook 1 pound lean ground beef and 1 small yellow onion, minced together until the beef is completely browned and the onions are translucent.
  3. Add 3 cloves garlic, minced to the skillet and cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Season with 2 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Add 29 ounce can tomato sauce to the skillet and saute everything together 2-3 minutes. Add the macaroni and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well incorporated and heated through.
  5. Remove from heat and serve with a generous helping of grated sharp cheddar cheese, .
