Quick and Easy Burger Seasoning

This quick and easy homemade hamburger seasoning can be ready to season your favorite burger recipes in under 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Minced/Chopped Dried Onion
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl or spice shaker. Mix to combine.
  2. Use about 1 tablespoon of the burger seasoning per pound of meat.

Notes

  • We recommend using the seasoning within a few days.  If you plan on storing the seasoning for a longer period of time your will want to dry the brown sugar before adding it to the mix to prevent clumping.
  • This recipe is roughly enough to season about 6 half pound burgers, 9 ⅓ pound burgers, or 12 quarter pound burgers.
