Quick Apple Tarts

Quick Apple Tarts are a Fall staple. You can easily serve them for unexpected guests -- just pop them in the oven and in under 15 minutes you will have a hot and fresh dessert or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 apples
  • 4 tbsp condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Peel, core and cut apples into thin slices. Set aside.
  2. Split the dough into equal size pieces. I was able to get 9 pieces out of the sheet. Brush each piece with whisked eggs and a sprinkle of sugar.
  3. Move the dough pieces onto a lined baking sheet. Top each dough piece with apple slices. Optionally: Drizzle apples with condensed milk.
  4. Bake tarts at 375 °F for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
