Quick Pickled Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1/4-1/2 red cabbage depending on how finely you shred the cabbage
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Shred up the cabbage and place it inside a mason jar or airtight container. Use two if necessary.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until everything is well mixed.
  3. Pour the liquid over the cabbage and then place it in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Pickled cabbages lasts for up to two weeks in the fridge! Meal prep a batch and slowly make your way through it for two weeks!
