Quickie Cinnamon Rolls

A family favorite since I was a child, the Company's Coming Cinnamon Roll recipe! Mere minutes is all it takes for a delicious cinnamon roll fresh from the oven!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 1 cup milk
Cinnamon topping
  • 1/3 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped raisins
  • My Homemade Buttery Vanilla Glaze

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter until it's the size of small peas. Mix in the milk until the dough forms a ball.
  2. Turn out the dough onto light floured surface and roll into 12 x 8 inch rectangle
  3. Combine the first three topping ingredients and spread them onto the dough. Sprinkle the raisins over the top and then roll up the dough jelly-roll style.
  4. Cut into 12 even pieces.
  5. Place into muffin cups and bake at 400 degrees until the rolls are browned and the cinnamon mixture is bubbling.
  6. Cool slightly, then remove from the tins.
  7. Glaze with my buttery Vanilla Glaze.
