Ranch Popcorn

Kernels of delicious popcorn are mixed with a homemade ranch mix! This Ranch Popcorn is addictive, tasty, and super easy to make!

Ingredients

For the ranch seasoning mix:
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
For the popcorn:
  • 1 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
  • 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/3-1/2 cup ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

Make the ranch mix:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk together until combined. Transfer mixture to an airtight, sealed container until ready to use. Pop the popcorn:
  1. An air popper or a Whirley pop is the easiest way to pop popcorn, but you can also make it on the stovetop.
  2. For the stovetop, heat a large pot (that has a lid) over medium-high heat. Add coconut oil to the pot, then add the kernels and cover the pot. When you hear the first sound of kernels popping, reduce heat to medium-low and allow the kernels to pop completely. Every minute or so, give the pot a shake to ensure all your kernels have been heated to pop. 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil, 1 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
  3. Remove from heat, transfer to a very large bowl and set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, drizzle half of the melted butter over the popcorn. Immediately sprinkle with the ranch seasoning. Shake the popcorn bowl to mix, or mix gently with a large spoon. Then drizzle with the remaining butter and ranch seasoning. Mix to coat all the popcorn. Add butter and more ranch seasoning until you get the desired taste. and ranch mixture. 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1/3-1/2 cup ranch seasoning mix
  5. Serve immediately.
