Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup of water
  • 1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
  • 20 oz fresh raspberries
  • ¼ cup of sugar (more if your berries are tart)
  • Zest from 1 small lemon

Instructions

  1. Mix the cornstarch with the water until well combined. Pour the water mixture, raspberries, sugar, and lemon zest into a pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally for 4-5 minutes or until thickened and the raspberries are bursting. Remove from the heat and let cool. Spoon over your waffles, pancakes, French toast, crepes, or ice cream. Enjoy.
