Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 15.25 ounces red velvet cake mix (1 box)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup whipped cream cheese spread
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cake mix, eggs, and whipped cream cheese spread for 1-2 minutes, or until a soft, sticky dough forms.
  3. Place the powdered sugar in a shallow bowl.
  4. With a 1½-tablespoon cookie portion scoop, drop balls of the dough directly into the powdered sugar, coat with sugar, and then roll into an even ball.
  5. Place the cookies about 1-2 inches apart on your cookie sheet and bake for 8-11 minutes, or until set on the edges.
  6. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack or serving warm.

Notes

  • Storage: Store red velvet crinkle cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
