Red Velvet Fudge

Red velvet fudge is a decadent chocolate dessert that's perfect for Valentine's Day! This easy chocolate fudge recipe is rich and romantic, topped with a creamy layer of homemade chocolate ganache.

Ingredients

Red velvet fudge layer
  • 2 1/2 C white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 C milk chocolate chips
  • 1, 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1-2 tsp liquid red food coloring
Chocolate ganache layer
  • 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 C heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray
  2. Using a medium sauce pan, combine the white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk
  3. Place over medium heat and mix until combined and smooth
  4. Mix in the red food coloring
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared baking dish and set aside
  6. Using a small sauce pan, heat up the heavy whipping cream over medium heat
  7. Place the semi sweet chocolate chips into a heatproof glass bowl
  8. Once the whipping cream starts to simmer pour over the chocolate chips and allow to sit for 1 minute
  9. Whisk the chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream until smooth
  10. Pour the ganache over the top of the red velvet fudge
  11. Place into the fridge over night before cutting into 1 inch squares.
