Red, White, and Blue Slushies
Be the hostess with the mostess with this delicious Red, White, and Blue Slushy. It comes together in a flash with flavors that will make a splash.
Ingredients
Red Layer
- 4 cups watermelon frozen, cubed
- 1 cup ginger ale soda
- 2 tablespoons lime juice about 1 lime
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
White Layer
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Blue Layer
- 4 cups blueberries frozen
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup ginger ale soda
- 2 tablespoons lime juice about 1 lime
Instructions
- In a blender, combine 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes, 1 cup ginger ale soda, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Blend until smooth, about 60-90 seconds. Keep cold until ready to serve.
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to whip 2 cups heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes. Keep cold until ready to serve.
- After cleaning the blender, combine 4 cups frozen blueberries with 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup ginger ale soda, and 2 tablespoons lime juice. Blend until smooth. Keep cold until ready to serve.
- Layer your slushies with red white and blue in any combination!
Notes
- Layer it how you want and pick the order of colors that you like the best.
- Like your slushies a little chunkier? Simply blend for slightly less time to keep some texture.
