Refreshing Cold Brew Lemonade
Cool down with a refreshing cold brew lemonade - think Arnold Palmer, but with your favorite iced coffee! With the right balance of the two, this unique combination makes a smooth, invigorating drink! Recipe for 1 or 4 servings.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water divided
- ½ cup lemon juice about 2-3 lemons, fresh
- 24 ounces cold brew coffee
- ice for serving
Instructions
- Simple Syrup: in a small saucepan, combine granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water. Simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Lemonade: in a jar, combine the simple syrup, lemon juice, and remaining 1/4 cup water. This makes about 1 cup lemonade, which is enough for 4 servings of cold brew lemonade.
- 1 Serving: add 2 ounces lemonade and 6 ounces cold brew to a serving glass. Stir to combine. Add ice as desired. Repeat with as many servings as you need. Enjoy!
Notes
- Store any leftover lemonade in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Dairy-based creamers will curdle in this drink; I recommend enjoying it without. The balance of lemonade and coffee is delicious on its own!
