Rhubarb Rosewater Margarita
A Sweet-Tart Cocktail Recipe with Rhubarb Syrup, Lemon and Exotic Rosewater Essence. Cinco de Mayo cocktail recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila 3 tbsp, if gluten free make sure it's certified GF
- 1 1/2 ounces rhubarb syrup see notes
- 1 1/2 ounces lemon juice 3 tbsp, freshly squeezed, or substitute lime juice
- Scant 1/2 teaspoon rose water
- ice
- sea salt optional garnish, or margarita salt
- lemon optional garnish, wheel
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, rhubarb syrup, lemon juice and rose water. Shake well.
- Strain into an ice filled rocks glass, rimmed with salt if desired. Garnish with lime or lemon wheel.
