Ricotta Parmesan Garlic Bread

Whether you are hoping to impress company or simply need a way to use up extra ricotta, this easy Ricotta Parmesan Garlic Bread will become a new favorite of everyone and for all occasions!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • ¼ cup real mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Slice French bread in half, across the equator.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients EXCEPT the Parmesan cheese until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
  4. Evenly spread Ricotta mixture over both pieces of French Bread. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  5. Remove bread from oven and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Without moving oven rack, broil bread for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden (watch closely so it doesn’t burn!). Garnish with fresh parsley and basil (optional).

Notes

  • For extra cheesy bread, add more Parmesan cheese!
