Ritz Cracker Sandwiches

Ritz Cracker Sandwiches are a quick, easy, crunchy and delicious snack to serve your family or guests. These little bites are the perfect blend of flavors for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 48 Ritz crackers
  • 12 lices ham sliced in half, deli
  • 24 small cheese I used Colby, square slices
  • 3 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place one layer of Ritz Crackers on the baking sheet. (I made 4 rows of 6.)
  4. Place ½ slice of ham on each cracker. You will have to fold them.
  5. Place one slice of cheese on each sandwich.
  6. Place another cracker on top to complete the sandwich.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and honey mustard together.
  8. Brush mixture on each sandwich.
  9. Sprinkle poppyseeds on top of sandwiches.
  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crackers are golden brown.

Notes

  • Watch oven to avoid over-baking and possibly burning while allowing the ingredients to melt together.
  • Consider stacking various ingredients and alternating colors and textures.
  • Combine sweet, salty, sour, and spicy ingredients to create a nice blend of flavors.
  • Keep your sandwiches bite-sized to make them easy to eat.
