Roast Beef on the Barbeque

Fabulous, fall apart roast beef cooked low and slow on the BBQ in it's own delicious gravy!

Ingredients

  • 24 grams package of brown gravy mix
  • 40 grams package of onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4-5 pounds blade/chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Heat your barbecue to 300 degrees. 
  2. Place roast in a BBQ safe dutch oven. 
  3. Shake the gravy mix and onion soup mix on top of the roast.
  4. Pour the water over the top. Place the lid on top of the dutch oven and place into the BBQ.
  5. Cook for 4-5 hours, low and slow, until the roast falls apart. 
  6. Take 1 cup of the liquid from the roast and place in a pot.
  7. Stir the cornstarch into a small amount of cold water, then whisk into the hot gravy in the pot. Continue stirring until thickened. Serve and enjoy!
