Roasted Cauliflower Steaks are an easy way to turn a simple vegetable into an elegant, low carb side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 heads of cauliflower
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut oil or olive oil for drizzling
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic minced
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Cut off the cauliflower stems.
  3. Place the head cut-side down and slice into ½ inch thick "steaks".
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle minced garlic and pepper.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once after the first 10 minutes.
