Ingredients
- 1 lb (4 cups) frozen brussels sprouts or however many you want for your meal
- 1-3 teaspoons oil
- salt
To serve (optional)
- Parmesan Cheese or vegetarian/vegan grated hard cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 430F / 220C - you'll need the oven to be quite hot.
- Put the frozen brussels sprouts onto the baking sheet (no need to thaw them first!), drizzle with the oil and sprinkle with a little salt.
- Place the baking sheet into the oven and roast the sprouts for 25 minutes or until soft inside and crispy on the outside.
- If desired, sprinkle with a little parmesan and more sea salt.

Notes
- It’s important to know that the brussels sprouts will not be crispy when they are finished. They will be slightly brown on the outside and tender all the way through.
- Once they are fully cooked, test for desired flavor and toss with more oil or salt if needed as the roasting process may have absorbed a lot of the flavor.
- Most frozen brussels sprouts come in their whole form. It’s ok to roast them whole with no need to cut them.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet with brussels sprouts as that will cause them to steam and become mushy. Make sure they are in a single layer on the baking sheet.
