Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil olive, coconut, or vegetable oil will work, generic cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300° Fahrenheit.
  2. Rinse the pumpkin seeds under cold water to remove any remaining pumpkin flesh.
  3. Pat the seeds dry with a paper towel.
  4. In a small bowl, toss the seeds with the oil and a pinch of salt.
  5. Spread the seeds out on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the seeds are dry and crunchy.
  6. Remove the seeds from the oven and let them cool before serving.

Notes

  • You can add a variety of seasonings to the pumpkin seeds before roasting to give them extra flavor. Some options might include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, or Parmesan cheese.
