Ingredients

  • ½ cup tahini
  • 3 red peppers whole, roasted
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Add to food processor. Add the tahini, roasted red peppers, water, lemon juice, garlic, and salt to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth. Blend the ingredients together in the food processor until smooth. If you'd like a thinner consistency, add 1 to 2 tablespoons more water.
  3. Serve or store. Use it right away or store it in a sealed container.

Notes

  • Adjust the number of roasted red peppers to control the intensity of the pepper flavor.
  • Add extra water by tablespoon increments to achieve your preferred sauce thickness.
  • Store the sauce refrigerated in an airtight container if not consumed right away.
