Ingredients

  • 2 fl oz dark rum
  • 1 fl oz lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ fl oz coconut sugar simple syrup or demerara, see notes
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters ie Angostura or similar; or can use orange, optional
  • 1 egg white (1 egg white is approx 2 tbsp/30ml/1oz)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add rum, lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters and egg white to a cocktail shaker then shake well.
  2. Add plenty of ice, shake again then strain into a glass. Optionally, top with a couple extra drops of bitters.

Notes

  • I'd suggest using a rocks glass for this but you can use other styles, as you prefer.
