Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds Fresh Salmon Fillet skin removed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 Buns optional
  • mixed greens optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, dill, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve the salmon burgers on whole wheat buns with your choice of toppings or over a bed of mixed greens for a low-carb option.
