Ingredients

  • 4 4 salmon steaks
  • 1 1 tablespoon Miso paste
  • 1 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • Green onions and sesame seeds to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the scales from the skin by holding the salmon under cold running water and gently but firmly scraping the skin with a spoon. Dry the salmon steaks with paper towels and place them on the baking sheet.
  2. Mix the miso paste, maple syrup, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl. Spoon the paste evenly over the top of the salmon steaks.
  3. Bake the salmon steaks in the oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit and the salmon flakes easily. Remove the salmon from the oven and serve topped with some green onions and sesame seeds.
