  • 0.5 green bell pepper diced

  • 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
  • 2 teaspoon Chinese five spice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Cook 200 g Frozen chips according to the packet instructions. We cooked ours in an air fryer to make it quicker.
  2. While the chips are cooking, heat 1 teaspoon Olive oil in a pan and add 1 Onion, 0.5 Red bell pepper, 0.5 Green bell pepper1 Green chilli and 1 Red chilli. Gently cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add 2 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice and 1 teaspoon Sea salt to the pan. Mix well and cook for a further minute.
  4. Put the cooked chips into a large bowl and add the cooked vegetables. Toss everything together.

Notes

  • To save time, you can use frozen onion, peppers and chillies.
  • If you still want all the colour from the chillies, but don't want all the heat, then remove the seeds and the membrane of the chillies.
  • Toss everything together in a bowl to make sure all the chips are fully coated, so you get flavour with every bite.
  • Use a warm mixing bowl to keep the chips hot.
  • If you are using frozen chips, there is no need to add any oil for cooking them.
