Sausage Wonton Stars

These Sausage Wonton Stars are bite sized appetizers filled with sausage, peppers, cheese, and ranch dressing. These are fast and crowd pleasers!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 ounces) wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Colby cheese
  • 1/2 /2 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 /2 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 2 bunches green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 /2 cup ranch salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray a miniature muffin tin with cooking spray. Gently press one wonton wrapper onto the bottom and up the sides of each greased miniature muffin cup. Bake for 5 minutes or until edges are barely browned.
  2. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain and remove from heat. Stir in the cheese, peppers, onions and salad dressing. Spoon a rounded tablespoonful into each wonton cup. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.

Notes

  • You can use all the same color of bell pepper. It's more for color to have the 2 different bell peppers.Source: Taste of Home
