- 1 slice of bacon
- 12-15 asparagus spears, woody ends removed, cut into thirds
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, flipping it halfway through cooking, until crisp and golden brown.
- Place the bacon onto paper towels to drain. Crumble the bacon into large bits.
- Add the chopped asparagus to the same large skillet with the bacon grease; cook, stirring often, for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Add the Dijon mustard, then season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste. Gently stir until evenly coated.
- Toss in the bacon, then serve it immediately. Enjoy.
