Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs kale stems removed and leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the kale leaves thoroughly. Remove the stems and roughly chop the leaves.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add the chopped kale, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 3-4 minutes until the kale is wilted and tender. If desired, drizzle lemon juice over the kale in the last minute of cooking.
