Sauteed Squash

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 /2 onion chopped
  • 6 medium squash sliced
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • kosher salt
  • ground black pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Melt butter in heavy bottomed pan or skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add squash and garlic and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Store: Cool the cooked squash thoroughly. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3-5 days. Reheat when ready to serve.
  • Freeze: Place cooled cooked squash in an airtight, freezer-safe container and freeze up to 3 months.  When ready to serve, thaw and reheat.
