Savory French Toast (Mom's Grenki Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 10 bread slices
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk the eggs with milk and salt.
  2. Dip both sides of the bread into the egg mixture.
  3. On low heat, preheat a skillet with a tablespoon of butter. Add toast to the preheated skillet and fry until golden brown. Flip over and repeat.
  4. Serve your savory toast with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
