Secret Ingredient Tuna Salad
Tuna Salad is a simple, comfort food favorite. We use Greek Yogurt and avocado as our secret ingredients to keep things light and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 2 (6 ounce cans) solid white albacore tuna drained
- 1 medium celery minced, rib
- 2 tablespoons red onion or sweet onion, minced
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 medium avocado diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Pinch garlic powder
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, stir together tuna, celery, and red onion.
- Gently stir in greek yogurt, avocado, lemon juice, and mustard and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
- Serve by itself, as a sandwich, as a dip, or on toast.
