Secret Ingredient Tuna Salad

Tuna Salad is a simple, comfort food favorite. We use Greek Yogurt and avocado as our secret ingredients to keep things light and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounce cans) solid white albacore tuna drained
  • 1 medium celery rib minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced red onion or sweet onion
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 medium avocado diced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Pinch garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together tuna, celery, and red onion.
  2. Gently stir in greek yogurt, avocado, lemon juice, and mustard and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
  3. Serve by itself, as a sandwich, as a dip, or on toast.
